The new frontier of sponsorship.
Your community can bring you income from brands all year round, at no cost to you.
Brands our team has worked with
Your community goes home. And you don't hear from them again until next year.
Used once
It is used for bib numbers and start times, and then it sits in a spreadsheet.
One weekend
Sponsorship is paid during the event. Once it is packed up, it is over.
Big brands out of reach
They ask for community figures that an event rarely has, and seldom sponsor a local one.
How it works.
Five steps. Day to day, the event only takes the first.
- 1
Adds the checkboxes
In its registration form, separate and unticked. Or a link in the confirmation email.
- 2
Its community chooses
Those who want to choose which offers interest them and how to receive them.
- 3
An offer arrives
Only for what each person chose, and as often as they decide.
- 4
The person accepts
They reply ACEPTO (I accept). Only then does the brand receive their contact details.
- 5
The event gets paid
The brand pays for that yes. The event gets a notification, and its share goes into the next settlement.
What the event doesWhat happens without the event doing anything
What it means for your event.
What the event does
- Adds the checkboxes to its registration form, with the text we provide.
- Signs the agreement, for one year.
- Forwards any request about the network to SponsorSheep.
What SponsorSheep does
- Finds the brands, negotiates and collects payment.
- Sends the offers and reviews each one before it goes out.
- Handles unsubscribes and complaints.
- Notifies the event and pays out its share.
What doesn't change
- The price and deadlines of your registration, and who can register.
- Your sponsorship contracts: the agreement with SponsorSheep does not affect them.
- Your exclusives: if a sponsor pays you for exclusivity in a sector, that category is blocked for your community.
- Your list of participants: it is neither requested nor accepted.
What your community receives.
A clear offer from a named brand, as often as each person chooses, and only to those who asked for it when registering and confirmed it. If they don't reply, the brand receives nothing. Leaving takes one word: BAJA (stop).

Example
Each accepted offer, a notification and a payment.
The organiser doesn't chase anyone. They get a notification with the category and the date, and their share is added to the next settlement. The notification contains no personal data.
19:05
Example
The usual. And the rest of the year as well.
Sponsorship is paid in the month of the event. Offers your community accepts come in the rest of the year.

That is what it costs the event.
No entry fee, no subscription, no per-contact charge. You just need to add the checkboxes to your registration form correctly.
The checkboxes, exactly as they will appear.
They go at the end of the form, separate, unticked and with this text. SponsorSheep gives it to you ready to paste.
Offers from the SponsorSheep network (optional)
Yes, I want to join the SponsorSheep network. Ottobaum OÜ, trading as SponsorSheep, will send me offers from brands in the categories I tick below, as often as I choose. No brand receives my data unless I accept a specific offer. I can unsubscribe from the entire network at any time.
What would you like to receive offers about?
Nutrition and drinks
Sports clothing, footwear and technology
Health and insurance
Banking and finance
Mobility and travel
Mobile and telecoms
How often do you want to receive offers?
You decide: one a month, one every three months, or only when it's a really good fit for you.
How should we send you offers? Tick one or both.
By email, to the address I have given.
By WhatsApp, to the phone number I have given.
I agree that SponsorSheep may occasionally ask me questions, through the channel I have chosen, about how I train, what I use and what I plan to buy, so that it only sends me offers that suit me. Answering is voluntary, I can stop whenever I want, and nothing I leave unanswered will be inferred from other sources.
I am 18 or older.
Below it, clearly visible, goes the basic data protection information: who the controller is, for what purpose, on what legal basis, who receives the data, how to exercise your rights and where to find the full notice.
Why each checkbox is separate.
The law doesn't allow asking for one yes to everything. Each checkbox answers to a specific rule.
Join the network
Consent must be freely given, specific and informed, and must name who receives it.
GDPR, Arts. 4(11), 6(1)(a) and 13The categories
The brands' sectors are named. Each brand's name appears in its offer, before the person decides.
GDPR, Art. 13(1)(e)Email and WhatsApp
A yes to email is not a yes to WhatsApp: each electronic channel needs its own consent.
LSSI, Art. 21(1)The questions
Tailoring offers to what the person tells us is profiling, and it has to be announced and asked for separately.
GDPR, Arts. 4(4) and 6(1)(a); LOPDGDD, Art. 11(2)(b)Age
Spanish law allows consent from the age of 14; the network requires 18 because what it sends is commercial offers.
GDPR, Art. 8; LOPDGDD, Art. 7Nothing pre-ticked or mandatory
Silence is not consent, and neither the price nor registration can depend on ticking the checkboxes.
GDPR, Arts. 4(11) and 7(4)Your community stays yours.
Your list stays with you
SponsorSheep doesn't ask for the list of participants and doesn't sell databases.
The brand only sees those who say yes
It only receives the contact details of the person who accepted its offer.
As many offers as each person wants
Each person chooses how many they want to receive and in which categories, and that limit is never exceeded.
Frequently asked questions.
Is the event community's data sold?
No. SponsorSheep doesn't ask for the list of participants and doesn't sell databases. A person's data only reaches a brand if that person accepts its offer.
What does the person who signs up receive?
Offers in the categories they chose, as often as they decide. Rewards, such as discounts, products or experiences, are set by each brand.
How much does the event earn?
A percentage of each accepted offer, set in writing in the agreement before starting. With "Calculate my earnings" we send you an estimate for your event.
Is there a cost or a minimum term?
There is no entry fee and no subscription. The agreement is for one year, so as not to promise a brand an audience that could be withdrawn the next day.
What if I already have a sponsor with exclusivity?
If a sponsor pays you for exclusivity in a sector, that category is blocked: your community receives no offers from that sector while that agreement lasts.
What if I have a children’s race?
Only the adult who registers can tick the checkboxes. No one under 18 joins the network, not even through a parent’s registration.
What if your registration platform doesn't support checkboxes?
A link on the registration page or in the confirmation email is enough. Anyone who wants to can sign up from there.
Who is legally responsible?
If the block is in your form, the event and SponsorSheep are joint controllers for that collection only, and Article 26 of the GDPR requires a written agreement between the two. Everything that happens afterwards (offers, unsubscribes and complaints) is SponsorSheep’s responsibility, which drafts that agreement and deals with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Your next registration can keep earning after the event.
Leave your event’s details and we will send you an estimate of what you could earn, with the checkboxes, the legal wording and the agreement to read before you decide. Asking for it does not commit you to signing or adding the checkboxes.
